Easyfundraising

 - an easy way to raise funds for Woore Victory Hall

Woore Victory Hall Easyfundraising

Woore Victory Hall is always trying to think of ways to raise funds not only to maintain the village hall but also to pay for refurbishment at some point We will of course continue to put on events that offer something of interest while at the same time generating some much needed income, but it’s difficult to keep asking members of our small community to part with their hard-earned cash.

We think we’ve found a solution. Wouldn’t it be great if you could donate some money to your village hall every time you shop online with well-known companies such as John Lewis, Amazon, Argos, eBay, etc? Or search the web? At no extra cost to yourself and with only one extra click?

Supporters register to help a good cause and whenever they shop through the site with any of over 4,400 retailers listed on easyfundraising.org.uk, the retailer gives a small percentage of what’s been spent back to the good cause to say thank you for shopping with them. Many high street names are now involved, including M&S, Argos, Asda, Tesco, Ticketmaster, Expedia and many more. In fact, you don’t have to spend anything to start raising money for Woore Victory Hall as some retailers will make FREE donations if you register with their website, sign up to their mailing list or participate in a free trial.

All you need to do is visit

https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/woorevictoryhall/

and when you register, select Woore Victory Hall as the organisation you wish to support.

If you already support a charity by using this or a similar donating website, or if you regularly use a cashback website, such as Quidco, you will be familiar with the idea of clicking through to a retailer from another website. You may have spotted too that easyfundraising has participating retailers who aren’t included in the major cashback sites, eg John Lewis, Amazon and eBay.

Key points

  • The donation is made by the retailer, not by you.
  • It will cost you no more than if you went straight to the retailer’s website.
  • You will not be asked to provide any personal information.
  • All you need to do for a donation to be made to Woore Victory Hall is to go via the easyfundraising website. This is a small but important step, as donations are only logged if you go through the easyfundraising website first.
